The world food celebration day 2023 held at the Police College Ikeja today as Ibeju-Lekki Local Government was well represented by the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) while there was grand display of different agricultural produce and aquatic feed.

Speaking on behalf of the AFAN members, Mrs. Kemi Olowu briefed the governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu on the agricultural reforms being carried out by the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa particularly in the agrarian communities and how farming has been boosted since his assumption of office.

The amiable Governor who acknowledged the good works of the Council Chairman in the agricultural sector, encouraged him to do more while also charging the farmers to keep the flame glowing as farmers are indeed the pride of the nation.
