Olowa Redeems Promise of Cash Gifts to Winners.

The Executive Chairman,Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Chairman today presented open cheques to the the First,Second and Third place winners of the recently concluded Maiden Edition of the Ibeju-Lekki Chairman’s Cup Competition.

Before the presentation,the Council Helmsman emphasised on the commitment of his Administration to the development of Ibeju-Lekki Youths while recounting several laudable youth based programmes that had been organised by the Council Area with remunerations as motivation.

Hon.Olowa stated that the Maiden Edition of the Chairman’s Cup is organised as a revolution to shift the interest of the youth to the game of football;and a move to start a Football Academy to further promote the round leather game.

A cheque of #1,500,000.00k was presented to Ibile FC in the 1st Position,
#1,000.000.00 to All Stars FC in the 2nd position while Onye-Ball FC received a Cheque of #500,000.00 in the 3rd place being cash gifts promised by the Council Area.

The Council Mayor further promised the Youth of the area won’t be left behind in the growth the Local Government is presently experiencing.

Also at the occasion were the Leader of the Legislative Arm,Hon.Mojeed Olayinka Oluwafemi, the Secretary to the Local Government,Hon.Adewale Adebanjo and other Executive Members,the Council Manager,Mr.
Oladipo Otinwa, Management Members,Rep.of Ibile FC,Mr.Hameed Arogundade,Rep.of All Star FC,Mr.Ajayi Adeniran,Rep.ofOnye-Ball FC,Mr.Pius Onyegbula amongst others.
