CDC IBEJU-LEKKI CHAPTER PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO COUNCIL CHAIRMAN AS HON. OLOWA ASSURES COOPERATION

The Community Development Committee, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Chapter, led by its chairman, Mr. Jabita Adeboye today paid a courtesy visit to the Council Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, in his office.

The courtesy call, is the first official visit since the inauguration of the new executive members.

Mr. Jabita Adeboye, in his speech, said the essence of the visit was to seek the cooperation of the Council Chairman, particularly in complementing his efforts at taking the Council Area to greater heights. He went further to stress that the CDC has also come up with its own road map in furthering the cause of the Hon. Olowa led administration by ensuring grassroots participation in developmental projects.

Hon. Olowa, who was elated at the visit, thanked the CDC team for the August visit. The Council Boss noted that the role of the CDA in community development can not be overemphasized as they are a strategic committee that is reckoned with, in the scheme of things.

Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa assured the CDC of the administration’s continued support towards a harmonious and cooperative relationship.

The Council Chairman took members of the CDC to inspect the ongoing Local Government Secretariat which is still in the phase of construction.
