I extend warm greetings to our Christian faithfuls in Ibeju Lekki as the world comes together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ today. I congratulate the body of Christ on another commemoration of this auspicious season and its essence of love for fellow men and steadfast faith in God.
Christmas, with its inherent spirit of love, joy, charity, and forgiveness, is a time for rejoicing with family and friends. It also provides us with an opportunity to extend generosity to the less privileged among us.
Let us seize this moment to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Jesus Christ, promoting noble virtues such as love, humility, peace, unity, and sacrifice. By incorporating these values into our homes and neighbourhoods, we contribute to building a united Nigeria.
Additionally, I encourage us to offer prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of our Local Government, State, and Country. It is crucial that we continue to support our Governments at all levels.
As Lagosians and Nigerians, I urge us to continue to fervently pray for both Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. May God graciously grant them the strength and wisdom required to actualize the lofty goals outlined in their respective agendas —Greater Lagos and Renewed Hope as these laudable initiatives have the potential to significantly improve the conditions of our State and transform the fortunes of our beloved Country for the benefit of all.
While we revel in the joy of the season, let us take a moment to reflect on its significance and rededicate our lives to its ethereal essence.
In closing, I pray that the joy and blessings of Christmas extend beyond the season and find a lasting abode in our homes.
On behalf of the great people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Merry Christmas to you all.
Signed:
Engr. Olowa Abdulahi Sesan
Executive Chairman,
Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
